Meet Rebecca Taurel
Taurel Women’s Health is built around a clear promise: you will be heard, informed, and guided with warmth and clinical precision.
Rebecca Taurel began her medical journey at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, where she earned her medical degree before completing her residency in Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology at the Venezuelan Red Cross. She went on to spend nine years as a reproductive endocrinologist and gynecologist at Hospital de Clínicas Caracas, one of Venezuela’s most prestigious medical institutions.
In 2017, Rebecca relocated to the United States, where she continued building her expertise at Florida International University, earning both her Bachelor’s in Nursing Science and a Master’s degree as a Nurse Practitioner, graduating with honors. She is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and has presented at scientific conventions across Venezuela, Brazil, and the United States.
With over a decade of experience, Rebecca brings an evidence-based, compassionate approach to every patient. She believes that truly listening is the foundation of great care — and that every woman deserves a provider who takes her seriously.

Your care is never left unattended. When Dr. Taurel is unavailable, our team is available to support you, address your concerns, and coordinate care as needed so you’re never without a point of contact.

Yes, we offer in-office lab work for your convenience. There is a $30 processing fee for this service.

Most visits run 30–45 minutes. Concierge patients may have longer appointments of up to 60–90 minutes to allow for a more in-depth consultation.
The first thing you should do is access the appointment portal, fill out all the forms, upload photos, list all medications you take and any questions you may have; include the date of your last menstrual period, mammogram results, and bring any previous exams, either printed or sent in advance.
